Supporting Families Through Childhood Cancer
Cultural Competence Credits: 2 hours
Participants will have a better understanding of the psychosocial impact of a childhood cancer diagnosis across the lifespan for parents, the child with cancer, and siblings. Clinicians will leave with a more thorough understanding of the impact and different interventions that could be helpful. Also, clinicians will learn what to avoid that could pile on to the trauma stressors.
