$50.00
Cultural Competence
Psychosocial impacts of Childhood Cancer and how to best serve the caregivers, siblings and child with cancer. Learn what these families need you, their clinicians to know. Learn what things to avoid doing that could do more harm than good.
Cultural Competence Credits: 2 hours
Participants will have a better understanding of the psychosocial impact of a childhood cancer diagnosis across the lifespan for parents, the child with cancer, and siblings. Clinicians will leave with a more thorough understanding of the impact and different interventions that could be helpful. Also, clinicians will learn what to avoid that could pile on to the trauma stressors.
